We are looking for a technically oriented person with great attention to detail and at least 1 year of experience working in a laboratory setting.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Weighing and preparation of samples
  • Maintaining and calibrating laboratory equipment and instrumentation in accordance with ISO 17025
  • Contribution to the laboratory quality control and quality assurance systems
  • Reporting stock levels of consumables, standards, and chemicals
  • Maintaining laboratory cleanliness, organisation, and good housekeeping practices
  • Recording results in LIMS and/or laboratory worksheets
  • Identifying and reporting non-conformances or equipment issues
  • Supporting senior analysts as required

Skills and experience required:

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail with clear and accurate record keeping
  • Ability to reason and interpret laboratory data
  • Intermediate or higher proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
